After living in Italy and Japan, I developed a passion for multilingual and multicultural experiences.  In both countries, I was a former English language teacher, where I focused on designing curricula and discussions to improve students’ speaking skills.  I taught language learning through activities, such as cooking classes, games, and dancing.  I take pride in helping students of all ages learn about new languages and cultures, and recognize that every child has their own unique way of learning. 

When I started my own family, I was seeking multilingual books for my sons, but struggled to find books that had an enjoyable storyline and beautiful illustrations. I decided to create Momo Street Press to create stories that inspire children to view the world with excitement and a sense of possibility.

My vision has been to blend the story and language learning elements into the illustrations to create an aesthetic balance. My readers have shared that they love how my storytelling includes language, culture, rhyme, and vibrant illustrations all in one!
